About Matt
Matthew Braithwaite is a proud resident of the Strathmore section of Aberdeen, where he and his wife Nicolette are raising their three young children, two boys and a baby girl. For Matthew, this is not just a place to live. It is home.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science from Misericordia University and a Master of Science from The New School. He serves as a Senior Client Success Manager at a large technology company, where he specializes in data collection and analytics.
Outside of work, Matthew is a member of Matawan Lodge 192 and a parishioner at St. Benedict's Church. He is grounded in the same faith and community that make Aberdeen a special place to live.
Matthew is running for Aberdeen Township Council because he believes in protecting what makes this town a great place to raise a family, while making sure it continues to grow and thrive for years to come. As a father, a neighbor, and a community member, he knows what is at stake and he is ready to get to work.
